On Thursday last week, five Rippa Rugby teams and our Tackle Rugby team had their second tournament at Takapuna Rugby Club.

It was such a mixed assortment of weather with sunshine, wind and a little rain; at one point, some of our teams were even huddled underneath the tarpaulin in-between a game. 

We had great sportsmanship, adaptability and encouragement. I was able to move around to catch glimpses of each team and see their progress in terms of skill and teamwork. Year 3/4 Boy's Rippa Yellow and the Year 3/4 Girl's Rippa teams were undefeated in their games for this tournament.
