North Harbour Hockey

Admin —

North Harbour Hockey would like to take this opportunity to share two programmes for kids in school years 0-3 that might be of interest to parents looking for a multi-sport opportunity or a chance for kids to explore hockey. See information below.

  1. Programme 1 - Explore Sport – CLICK HERE to register.

We have partnered with Longridge Sports to bring you our first Multi-Sport Introduction to Fundamental Movement program. The seven-week program is designed to allow kids aged 4-7 (School Years 0-3) to play and explore a range of fundamental movements using various sporting equipment. While a hockey stick will not be far away (we are at the National Hockey Centre after all), the program is focused on free play, children will not be pushed towards only one sport or piece of equipment during this program.

We wish to introduce children to sport in a positive and enjoyable way while developing a lifelong love of physical activity!! No equipment is needed, just closed shoes.

Where: National Hockey Centre - Home of NHHA

When: Monday Afternoons, two time slots available (4.00-4.45pm or 4.45-5.30pm)
