To celebrate International Peace Week 2019, Milford School ran it’s annual Peace poster competition a few weeks ago.

The theme of our 2019 poster competition was “Quotes for Peace”.

Children who took part, each chose a quote that they felt carried a powerful message of peace, and then created stunning posters to accompany the quote and broadcast these messages. The posters were of an exceptional standard with over 100 entries. 

We are proud to announce the four winners - who each received a $20 Whitcoulls' voucher:

Senior division - 1st= Lindsay Wu (year 4) and Yui Kim (year 5)
Junior division - 1st= Emily Huai (year 2) and Mishel Belousova (year 3)

Well done to those winners and everyone else who took part in this fantastic initiative!
