After a long wait over the summer, the Gardening Club tamariki finally got to harvest the potatoes. In the first 3 weeks, the children weeded the gardens, watered the plants, and diligently checked on the crops to see if any tomatoes, beans and corns could be harvested. Our wonderful parent helper, Charlotte, also worked with the tamariki to repot some flowers for the butterfly house. We can't wait to see the flowers blossom and to refresh the gardens with new plants.
