On Tuesday, the Milford Athletics Cluster team went to compete at Takapuna Athletics Club against the other schools in our cluster. We competed in events such as sprints, long jump, high jump for example. Out of all the schools that competed we came 1st overall based on the points at the end of the day. Our least favourite event was javelin because of the wind blowing the javelins sideways. The event we liked the most was the long jump, because we like landing in the sand.

We would like to thank all of the parents for helping on the day and also with transport to and from the venue. Another thanks to Mr Polkinghorne, Ms Snowball and Mrs Lavulo.
