Milford School has decided to offer only one playing day for all year groups in 2020. In the past year we have found that we have stretched our resources too thinly and have compromised the strength of netball teams. To this end you may register your child in either the Monday competition -Years 1 and 2 Future Ferns which are 4 aside, Year 3 which are 5 aside and Year 4 which are 7 aside.The Wednesday competition is for Years 5 and 6 , both of which are 7 aside.

1. Mother Earth Future Ferns encompasses programmes for Year 1 & 2 which is 4 v 4 across a normal size netball court. Monday afternoon. Times are 4.00pm and 4.50pm

2. Year 3s will be on a Monday afternoon The Year 3 programme consists of 5v5 across two thirds of a normal netball court with the 2.6 metre high netball hoops. Times are 4.00pm and 4.50pm.

3. Year 4s will continue to play on a Monday night with the usual rotation and playing on a full size court and playing 7 aside. Times 4.00pm and 4.50pm

4. Year 5s and 6s will play each Wednesday night. The Year 5s play a separate competition from Year 6 and will not play Year 6 teams. The Year 5s will continue with the lower hoop of 2.6m and continue with rotations. Year 6’s will continue with the higher hoop of 3.05m and no rotations.

The round times for Wednesday will be 4.00pm, 4.50pm, 5.40pm and 6.30pm. Some teams on a Wednesday may play a later round of 6.45 if we need the extra round to fit games in.

Milford School will not be entering any Saturday teams in 2020.

Fees: These will have to be paid before your child can be confirmed in a team. Please note that every child who wishes to play netball will be placed in a team on receipt of payment. Registrations may be paid on Kindo.

Year 1 and 2 - $95.00 per player     

Year 3 - $85.00 per player

Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 - $95.00 per player. 

This includes a netball uniform per player to be returned at the end of the season. Fees can be paid on Kindo any time from now on.

The season will run from April 28 through to September 28.
