In Room 9, our current unit is How We Organise Ourselves: "Economies rely on the interconnection between producers and consumers". As part of this unit we took part in a creative thinking exercise where we designed our own currency. Here you can see a range of currencies designed by the children in Room 9. We have also been busy writing business plans and creating advertisements, and considering how businesses need to generate enough income to cover their running costs and create a profit.
