Give a Kid a Blanket - 25 June 2019 ❄

Sue Cattell and Grace Young —

What is Give a Kid a Blanket? Give a Kid a Blanket is a community action of kindness. We are once again collecting for families who are cold and need help this winter. The aim is for recipients to feel both warmed and valued by the community.

Why do this?

Last year when we did this, we were stunned by the generosity of our families and the helpers who collected the huge piles of items, were speechless too. It was instigated in our school by one of our amazing students, Grace Young, and she is again leading the effort. It really makes a difference to those in need.

What do you do?

On Tuesday 25 June 2019, wear mufti or pyjamas to school and instead of a gold coin, please bring in a new pair of pyjamas (please consider all age ranges including teenagers), new or excellent condition pre-loved blankets, duvets, or rain coats. (NO other types of clothing thanks).

Please take all items to the hall when you get to school.

Many thanks from: Mrs Cattell and Grace Young
