Compost Club meets each Tuesday lunchtime to add ingredients to our compost bins, empty and clean the Bokashi bins, and care for our Worm Farms. Our compost is rich in nutrients for the plants that we grow in our Gardening Club gardens. We also use worm vermicasts and worm 'wee' to give our plants an extra nutrient boost. In Week 6, the Composters filled bottles with Worm Wee and made labels to get them ready for sale. Hanna, Joshua and Austin enjoyed their task selling the worm wee after Assembly. The proceeds will go towards purchasing tools and materials for the Gardening Club, so a big thank you to the people who supported us by buying our amazing organic fertiliser. You can purchase worm 'wee' anytime from the school office for just $2 for a 2 litre bottle and $1 for a 1 litre bottle. Happy gardening!
