Sarah (Year 1) has shown the Learner Profile attributes of being CARING and PRINCIPLED, with her recent donation of her hair to an organisation making wigs for people with total hair loss. Sarah's empathy for others motivated her to cut her very long hair into a short (and very cute!) style, and she was able to donate a long ponytail.

Sarah received a letter of thanks and a certificate from the organisation, who said, "I can honestly assure you that your hair donation will be immensely appreciated as it will provide the opportunity to change someone's outlook on life forever and not only gives them back their sense of being beautiful, but their identity too, and for that we and our clients are forever grateful. Thank you so much again for your kind heart and generosity."
