We are all excited about performing our Senior School Production of ‘Sucked In’ in week 7 of this term. As you can imagine rehearsals for both the cast and the class performances are well underway.

A reminder to please complete payment for the class t-shirt prior to the end of Week Two. The subsidised cost of this printed t-shirt is $15 which was due for payment before the end of Term 2. If this is still outstanding for your child, please go to the Kindo app and make your payment in the Trips and Activities section. This t-shirt forms an essential part of the costume for each class item. We have already checked the size that your child requires so there is no need to complete this section.

The dates for the production are: (Please note the confirmed start times)

Monday 6th September - dress rehearsal - all must be present - we treat this as the first performance and have the rest of the school as an audience.

Tuesday 7th September - evening performance @ 6.30pm

Wednesday 8th September – matinee performance @ 1pm

Thursday 9th September – evening performance @ 6.30pm

Attendance for these performances is compulsory as each child has a specific role in the production – it is a very inclusive and rewarding experience for them.

Each student would have received a note from their class teacher requesting certain clothing or costume items that they will need to bring from home. These need to be brought to school in a named bag by Friday of Week 5, for checking, storing and for use in our dress rehearsals.

Tickets for the productions (Junior and Senior) will go on sale on Friday 13th August, in Term 3. Keep an eye on the newsletter for details on where to purchase tickets for both productions as seats will be limited.
