Room 12 ESOL students have been working hard unpacking the vocabulary and the central idea of their HOW THE WORLD WORKS unit of Inquiry. They now understand that materials are made up of matter that has properties which can be classified, changed and used for a variety of purposes - they did it in their ESOL class and had lots of fun while doing it.
