On the 14th September 2022 the year 6 and year 3 and 4 teams played in the Bayswater Football tournament in Bayswater. Our team was very successful and won all of our group matches. In the Semi Final we faced Takapuna and won 3-1. We then were up against Belmont. We held on for most of the match but conceded a goal near the end of the match. In the final minutes we were very close and we had two shots hit the post and another on the crossbar and lost the match 1-0.

The Year 3 and 4 team also did very well drawing one game and winning the rest in the group stage. They made it to the Semi Final but lost to Belmont as well. In the 3 and 4th place playoff the match drew nil nil and went onto golden goal but had to stop the match because of the prizegiving starting. Both our Milford teams did really well and we would also like to thank the coaches for coaching the teams on the day and also the parents who provided transport on the day.
