Trees for survival

Nic Sao —

Last year the year 4’s planted seedlings as part of the Trees for Survival programme. This week, forty of the now year 5’s, went to Brigham Creek to plant these trees in their forever home. The students (and our parent volunteers) worked so hard to plant 640 trees. We learnt how to correctly plant the trees, why they were important and the positive effect planting trees in this area would have.

The Trees for Survival team were so impressed with the attitude of our students and the quality of their planting. A big thank you to the parents who joined us. Our students simply cannot have these opportunities without your support.
