Our buddy reading programme is back! Westlake Girls High School and Milford School have combined to promote and extend the love of reading in our children.

On a Thursday morning at 8am, the children meet outside the library and head into the warmth with their buddies to find a book and enjoy reading together for half an hour. Westlake Girls have been encouraging and supporting our children with their reading. They take turns to read a page or a paragraph each and then they discuss what is happening in the stories.

The hum of learning is fantastic and we are so pleased that we have managed to get this programme back up and running after last year's success. We hope that we will be able to continue this venture going forward.
