Parent Teacher Meetings

Admin —

We are looking forward to meeting with you to have a conversation about how your child has been progressing over the past two terms. We know that this learning has been mainly via distance learning, and you have spent more time with your child than we have, but we think it is important that we connect with you about this before the year ends. We are holding these parent-teacher meetings next Friday, 3 December. While we can’t meet in person, we are organising for all meetings to be zoom meetings, held during the day.

A booking timetable has been set up which you can access through the Milford School App on Skool Loop (the same app as you receive notices, can report absences, read the newsletter etc). Please click on the interview icon, select your child’s teacher and enter the details you are asked for, then choose the time you would like from the available time slots. Once you have booked, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address you supply. The teacher will then send you the zoom link. There are also meeting times available with our specialist teachers if you wish to meet with them separately: Eugenie Middleton (Music), Morgan McKeen (STEM) and Gordana Stanojevic (ESOL). Louise Lavulo (P.E.) is unable to meet that day so if you wish to speak with her about your child and P.E., please email her directly and she will set up a zoom time on another day.

Meetings are being held between 8.50am and 3.00pm (excluding break times). Just before your meeting time, click on the zoom link which will take you to a virtual waiting room. When the teacher is ready, they will admit you. Please note that all meetings are 10 minutes long and must finish on time.

You may wish to involve your child in the meeting, that is up to you.

If you have any questions, please ask your child’s teacher or one of the Senior Leadership Team.
