On Thursday, Lexi, George, and Charlotte participated in a Disability Sports Day for primary school-aged children. This event was run by the Halberg Foundation and Beach Haven Primary School. It was incredibly rewarding to see these three young risk-takers experience a Sports Day with other young people similar to them.

All three enjoyed escaping school for the day and having fun trying out the activities that included:

* Athletics

* Goalball

* Football

* Archery

* Hunger ball

The children showed amazing baton-handling skills in the relay events, and Charlotte was a speedster in her power chair! After Football, the children all received a Player of the Day certificate and trophy. Lexi was very proud of hers, exclaiming “It’s just like my brother’s one!”

We at Milford School are very proud of our open-minded risk-takers! George, Charlotte, and Lexi, you represented Milford School so very well, and we know you will carry on being fantastically sporty students in the future! Congratulations on your achievements.
