Netball Update 🏐

Linda Vane —

Yesterday Netball North Harbour communicated that when the government gives the OK for sport to start again, primary netball will go ahead. It is planned that there will be a shortened season. It is intended that there will be five weeks of grading for Years 4 - 6 and then five weeks of round robin competition. This means that netball for all year groups will essentially last for the whole of the 10 week third term only. To date I cannot confirm the format for Years 2-3 but would assume that they too will play for the term.

To this end we will be allowing teams to practice after school. This can start after Queen's Birthday weekend. You will hear from your coaches as to when this will take place. There might have to be contact tracing for each team while practising in the school grounds which will be the responsibility of each individual coach/manager.

All players and coaches have now been registered on the NNH website and I do ask that every family checks that personal details are correct as this will be vital for contact tracing going forward.

Some children have been given their uniform. I will give all other players their uniform over the next few weeks.I will make contact with all coaches as soon as I have further confirmation. If you have any queries please feel free to ask.

Apologies, but there will not be any opportunity for any new players to register at this stage of the year.
