In Week 10 of this term, we have our annual school wide Literacy Week taking place. This is a great week for children to have fun with all things literacy.

As initial plans for this week were made before lockdown, this is shaping up to look a bit different this year. If Auckland is in Alert Level 3 or 4, this will be done online, however, if we have made it to Alert Level 2 (fingers crossed), we will go ahead with an adapted version back at school.

Regardless of alert levels, one thing that will go ahead is our much loved 'favourite book character day'. If working online, children will come dressed as their favourite book character to their Zoom call on Wednesday the 29th of September. If we are back at school, this will take place on Thursday the 30th of September. Keep an eye on our newsletter over the next couple of weeks for further information.
