Room 5 Garden to Table Report

In Garden to Table room 5 have been learning knife and chopping skills. In their first session then created pesto using kale and silver beef. They also created a salsa using tomatoes and herbs all grown in our very own Milford garden.

They worked together as teams in the kitchen and out in the garden even while it was raining. For todays session, delicious apple and cinnamon muffins were on the menu along with hummus and beetroot dip. The apples, beetroot and parsley were harvested fresh from our school garden. The food was delicious. Yum! Thanks to those parents who came along to help with this great programme.
