If you have a child going to TNIS in 2020 , they are invited to attend this Orientation afternoon. If you are picking your child up from school for them to attend this, please let their respective teachers know.

Takapuna Normal Intermediate School (TNIS) warmly invites your child to an orientation afternoon.

The purpose of the afternoon is to give our new learners a positive experience in their new school. They will play some games with our current learners, see a performance from some of our music and dance groups and have a taster session with our specialists in one of the following areas:

• Music

• Science

• Digitech

• Materials

• Food tech

• Art

• Drama

Your child will need to wear comfortable clothing as the games will be physical.

NOTE: If your child has specific requirements, e.g., behavioral, physical or medical, you will need to accompany them during the entire visit.

Drop off and pick up

Please drop your child at the Northcote entrance to the school between 12:10pm and 12:25pm.

To pick up your child, please come to the Northcote entrance by 2:30pm and park your car on our courts - this will be signposted. Your child will meet you there at 2:40pm.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming your children to our school and working with you over the next two years.
