I really enjoyed the Marine Education Recreation Centre. It was a good experience and I learnt lots of new things like Surf-kayaking, how to build a bridge and more. I also loved the food there. I am a vegetarian so I had a different meal but I still loved it. I loved the ice-cream the best because it had sprinkles and strawberry sauce.

I couldn't get to sleep at all because everyone was being so loud and flashing their torches but I fell asleep in the end. Rock-climbing was my favourite activity because I felt that I was very good at it and I was the first to make it up the red wall (that's the hardest one). In summary, MERC is a brilliant place to go to and great for trying new things.
