Year 6 EPro8 teams both make semi-finals!
I would like to say a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS on behalf of Milford School to our two year 6 EPro8 teams who entered the regional competition at the end of Term 3. EPro8 is an engineering and science inter-school challenge which tests students on their collaboration and problem-solving skills through a series of building activities.
Through Monday’s livestream results, it was announced that our teams came 1st place (Milford Maniacs) and 3rd place (Camelanders) and both qualify to go through to the semi-finals which will be held at TNIS on the 6th of November.
The students in these teams poured so much time, energy and passion in to their builds; they were in the Pouaka Room designing and constructing before school, at morning tea and lunch times (some members even wanted to work on it at home!). We are so proud of their achievement - their hard work has paid off and we cannot wait to see how they get on in the finals series. Good luck Oscar, Beth, Kees, Harry, Dustin, Alex, Boston and Chloe - you are all so inspiring and we know you will represent Milford in outstanding fashion!
