On Tuesday 6th of July, Milford School took part in the Bayswater Festival of Football tournament at Bayswater Park. Two teams went along, a Year 3/4 team and a Year 5/6 team. Each team played 6 games overall and there were 10 teams with 7 players on each team, a mix of boys and girls.

During the round games, the Year 5/6 team lost one game to Belmont, but still made it into the playoffs. They had a good win in the semi final and met Belmont again in the final. Unfortunately, they were too strong and Milford had to settle for second place.

Congratulations to the Year 3/4 team who won all of their round games by big scores. They even won their semi final convincingly. The final was a close game which went to golden goal! With great skill, Milford scored to win the final. Well done team!

Both teams would like to thank their coaches, Mr Williams and Mr Gordon. Plus the parents who acted as Uber drivers for us.
