Be Prepared on rainy days!

Melanie Dixon —

Wet days mean more traffic and less visibility. Extra care and patience is needed when driving… and parking. Use your lights, bring an umbrella and be prepared to walk to pick up your children. Better to catch a few raindrops than collect a car.!

Park safe, and keep our children safe.

Please be aware that there are parking restrictions on both Otakau Road and the parking bay outside Milford School, on Shakespeare Road.

These restrictions are in place between 8am and 9am and between 2.45pm and 3.30pm Monday to Friday.

To ensure this Kiss and Drop system works effectively we ask that you keep your time in this parking area to a minimum, so that traffic may flow freely.

Please allow your child to exit the vehicle safely, onto the footpath not the road please, and then drive away promptly.

We do appreciate that parking is problematic around our school, so if you need to come onto the school grounds for any reason, we recommend that you park a short distance away to save the stress of trying to find a park and to enjoy quality time walking with your child.

We would also like to remind you that Auckland Transport may issue parking infringement fines, and cars may be towed if left unattended.
Ultimately these parking restrictions are in place to ensure the area around our school are as safe as we can make them for not just our students but everyone in our community.

Thank you for your cooperation.
