Library Book Returns

Tracye Eriksen —

Kia ora tatou, It is getting towards the end of the year where the library will need to close up ready for stocktake in Week 7. The last week for students borrowing books will be this week (Week 5), with those books having a return date by the beginning of Week 7. Classes will still be able to visit the library in Week 6 but there will be no issuing.

It will be very much appreciated if students and families can make an effort to look around home for any overdue or lost library books to be returned to the school library. I absolutely understand with the many lockdowns that we had, life turned upside down and things have disappeared.

For those who cannot find their books to return, it would be appreciated that you pay your lost library book invoice when you receive it. Replacing these books keeps our library full of interesting information and wonderful stories that our students can enjoy both now and in the future.

If you have any concerns please email me for a kōrero. While I wish I could wave a magic wand and not send out invoices, I also want our children to have the library they need for their education and their enjoyment.

Ngā mihi nui,

Tracye Eriksen
