Enrolment at Milford School is governed by a Ministry of Education-approved enrolment scheme, which includes a zone that is set out below. A full copy of the enrolment scheme can be viewed at the school office.

Once all information has been supplied you will receive an email confirmation of enrolment.

Effective from 1 March 2025 - The guidelines for development and operation of enrolment schemes are issued under section 11G (3) of the Education Act 1989 for the purpose of describing the basis on which the Secretary’s powers in relation to enrolment schemes will be exercised.

At Milford School, we are committed to providing the best possible start to your child’s educational journey. With this in mind, we are excited to introduce our Reception Room for our new starters in Years 1 and 0, which will open at the start of the 2025 school year. We are also introducing new intake dates for each term, of the Mondays of weeks 1 and 6.

The Milford School uniform is compulsory. It consists of a variety of pieces that can be mixed and matched for summer and winter. There is not a particular time when one type of uniform is worn, it is your choice which pieces are worn. NZ Uniforms is proud to be serving Milford Schools community. Name labeling service, full footwear range, school bags, and other accessories are all available in store. NZ Uniforms can assist with WINZ and charity organisation quotes and also offers Zip (in-store and online) and Afterpay (in-store only). Items can be delivered to your home or to school for you to collect.
