Department of Conservation visit Year 1.

As part of our 'Animals and Us' inquiry, we were very fortunate to have Handler Hannah, from the Department of Conservation, come in to school yesterday and share with us some information regarding pests that have been introduced into New Zealand that are harmful to our native species.

JUMP JAM AT MILFORD SCHOOL WITH BRETT FAIRWEATHER

Earlier in the term, we were lucky enough to have the energetic Brett Fairweather, who facilitates and created Jump Jam kid's aerobics, come to Milford School to take our whole school for a 20 minute Jump Jam session.

Scooter Training

This week our students in Years 3 and 4 had the opportunity to learn skills in riding a scooter. They had lots of fun and were excited to have scootered to school. Our thanks to Auckland Transport for their support in bringing these lessons to our school.

Fruity Sacks Fundraiser- IMPORTANT NOTICE

All money and unsold Fruit Bags should have been returned to the office on Friday 31, May. If you have not already done so, please get them in, so that we are able to collate the winning families and classes for most sold. If we do not get all unsold bags returned by the end of school on Monday 24 June, families WILL be invoiced for the full $80 as we need to close off this fundraiser. We appreciate your support!
