Kia ora whānau. It was really lovely to be invited to listen to our wonderful orchestra this morning play the first piece they have learned together this year. These children, of whom nearly half are new members, played so well and are a credit to our amazing music teacher, Eugenie Middleton.

St Patrick's Day Mufti Fun

by Admin

Wow! Thursday was a fun day at Milford School. The playing field was a sea of green instead of it's usual yellow, as we had our first mufti day of the year. We also had a Jester's Pie Day. $1.50 for each pie bought will go towards supporting students to participate in activities. A huge thank you to everyone who supported this. We will be having another pie day on Friday 1 April. Keep an eye out for reminder notices of when you get your pie order in.

Year 3 being good communicators

by Nirelle Armstrong

This week Year 3 children have been focussing on the learner profile attribute of being a good communicator. We have learned that it is important to contribute our own ideas and listen to the perspectives of others when working in a group. We know that speaking respectfully to one another helps us to connect better in our friendships and also when working as part of a team. We use different ways to communicate everyday. Below are some of our star communicators.
