Visit this articleGardening Club members were rewarded for all the planting, watering and weeding of our herbs and vegetables over the term so far. Our basil plants had reached their peak, so the children made basil pesto. They plucked the leaves off the stems, chopped up some garlic and measured the ingredients into the food processor. After a whizz of the blender from several children we were able to share it out - following hygiene protocols of course. Well done to all the risk-takers who were willing to taste it. Almost everything thought it was delicious.
