Milford School is an IB PYP Authorised School!

by Sara Baker

We are very proud to let you know that during the holidays, we received notification that we are now a fully authorised International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme school. We have had a two year journey of learning, planning and teaching, as well as two remote visits from our consultant and the verification team, a first hugely successful Year 6 Exhibition, and our wonderful students learning and living the Learner Profile Attributes.

Me Too!

by Ellen von Collas

On our first day back at school, we are getting to know each other in all our classes. In Room 19 we played a game called 'Me Too'. We found we could connect to so many other children in our class through our shared interests, likes, family make-up and cultural backgrounds. We may all be individuals but we're all connected to each other too. Me too!

Neighbours Day Aotearoa!

by Charlotte Barrance

The kaupapa of Neighbours Day Aotearoa is to encourage people to get to know your neighbours better! It is as simple as that! Neighbours Day Aotearoa 2021 runs from March 20-March 30th this year. This year's theme is The Great Plant Swap as we want neighbourhoods to grow stronger together. Previous years have seen people joining Neighbours Day Aotearoa to hold BBQs, community movie nights, street parties, beach clean ups, and even small acts like sharing a cup of tea or running errands for our neighbours.
