What a great response to our Black Out Day today. All the children wore their All Blacks and black clothing with pride as we showed our support for the All Blacks as they begin their World Cup 2019 Campaign on Saturday night! Go the All Blacks!!

TE WIKI O TE REO MĀORI (Māori Language Week)

Last week, as part of Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori (Māori Language Week), there was a poster competition, as well as a 30 question quiz for students to participate in. It was so wonderful for Mrs Lavulo to see so many tamariki attempting this, to test their knowledge of Māori kupu (words). Kei te mōhio koe! (You are knowledgeable!)

PUPUKE CLUSTER CROSS COUNTRY 🥇🥈🥉

On 5th September, 23 of our selected students attended the Pupuke Cluster Cross Country where they competed against children in their grade from three of our other Cluster schools- Takapuna, Forrest Hill, and St Joseph's. We were really lucky with the weather and there was some great encouragement and sportsmanship from our participants.

Did you know that Milford School is a collection point for all oral hygiene products?

We collect them in Room 19, and Mrs von Collas sends them to Australia, where they get recycled and turned into other products. You can help us win a Community Garden simply by bringing your used oral hygiene products to Room 19 and also by voting for Milford School in the Community Garden Challenge. Tell your families, tell your neighbours. Spread the word!
