Zone Cricket Day

On Tuesday we sent 6 teams to the Cricket Zone Day. The weather was fantastic and all our students had a fun day giving their all.
The year 3-4 boys had an epic day. They won all 3 of their games and made it straight through to the final. The competed against Birkenhead primary for 1st and 2nd. Birkenhead batted first and made 40runs. Milford then came in and made 42 runs to win the final and win the McCullum-Hadlee trophy. Carl Cachopa had the privilege to coach these phenomenal boys. A great day had by all.
A big thank you to all our parent supporters who helped get the students to and from the field and for staying to support them throughout the day, Mr Wilson who was there supporting our teams throughout the day and Dionne Moors, our sports coordinator for organising the teams and coordinating the day.
