Gardening Club Update

At the start of the session, we ate the delicious sweet corn we harvested last week.
The younger tamariki were in charge of watering the garden this week, it’s lovely to see that they are able to organise themselves into small groups and carry out their responsibilities sensibly and with enthusiasm.
The senior children cleared up two garden beds. They used their mighty strength to pull out the corn plants and carefully collected the dried bean pods to save the seeds for future planting.
