Wow! It was so wonderful to see all the Rimu tamariki having fun last Friday at our Athletics Day. Despite the windy start, the afternoon had calmed enough that everyone was able to keep their hats in place. The kids showed real teamwork as they participated in all the activities and tried their hand at vortex, quoits, sprints, high jump and long jump. We are so grateful to the Year 6 leaders for their kindness and patience. They were outstanding at setting everything up, demonstrating how to do things and helping their little schoolmates.
