Reminders

Miramar North School —

Food and drink at school, toys, scooters, bikes...

The following are friendly reminders of expectations at school that staff have noticed, some of these are causing issues:

Scooters:

When arriving and leaving the school grounds, can all children/parents walk scooters up/down the driveway or carry them down the stairs please.

Bikes:

Parents/students are not to ride their bikes on school grounds between 8.30-3.30 for safety reasons.

Food and Drinks:

A reminder that children should only be bringing water to school, no juice, fizzy drinks, Gatorade or Prime.  The children are not to bring the bottle of concentrated 'water drops' to school. Some students are drinking this straight from the bottle and sharing with others. There are also no lollies at school and we continue to encourage healthy lunches.

8.30 Drop off:

Some children are arriving at school too early, the standard drop-off time is 8.30am onwards as there is no active supervision before this time.

No toys at school:

This includes any type of trading cards - anything that is brought into school for sharing time needs to be handed to the teacher and not played with at school.

Balls:

If you are bringing a ball to school it is your responsibility.
