From the Board of Trustees

Belinda Campbell —

Kia ora koutou,
Welcome back! It's great to see the school community reconnecting after the holidays.
This term, we will focus on community consultation and finalising the school's 2023-25 Strategic Plan.

We want to ensure the draft plan aligns with the school community's values and priorities as much as possible, so we encourage you to check it out and let us know what you think.
We'll put copies of the plan on the noticeboards in Reception and outside the Resource Room (near Room 5) from this Tuesday 25th. You can give us feedback by emailing boardchair@mns.school.org, talk to us in person at school pick-up time, or come to our first 'Board Chat & Snack' session Friday 28th October after school - we'll be outside Room 1 with some food for MNS families and time to talk about the school's strategic goals.
Congratulations Cherida Fraser, who was elected Chair at the last Board meeting (28th September). Keep an eye out for our next newsletter, with some details on the Board members and the portfolios allocated to each of us.

And just a reminder that anyone from the MNS school community can come to a Board meeting to discuss an idea or concern relating to school policies or strategy. The next Board of Trustees meeting is on Monday 7th November, so contact Cherida on boardchair@mns.school.org if you're interested in participating.
Look forward to hearing from you. He waka eke noa (We're all in the canoe together).
