Education Outside the Classroom Term 4

This term Pōhutukawa will be participating in some education outside the classroom events for a week starting on Monday 13th November. Out of the classroom learning experiences provide students with a range of contexts to develop the key competencies, explore their values and the values of others, and apply learning across the curriculum.

We are fortunate to have been able to book in each class for another sailing session at Worser Bay. Weather permitting these trips will take place on the 13th, 14th, 15th November. More information will be sent out closer to the time but we will need parent help for these trips.

During this week classes will have the opportunity to experience a range of different activities at school which go beyond the walls of the classroom. Learning from outside the classroom experiences continues inside the four walls of the classroom.
