Introducing Andrea Nonu

Key points from the last BoT meeting (Monday 5th November)

· Vidisha, Sarah and Amanda from the Senior Leadership Team presented the 2022 Achievement Report. There are some very encouraging results and valuable insights into students’ learning at MNS.

· Thank you Rachel Waters (Year 3/4 teacher and Head of Inclusive Education SENCO) for presenting the school’s approach to a range of learning needs.

· Penny Duncan joined the start of the meeting to share her views about the MNS 2023-25 Strategic Goals – thanks Penny, it was great to have you come along in person.

· Other topics covered in the meeting included the 2023 MNS budget and ways to enhance awareness of, and pride in, diversity within the school community.

The next Board of Trustees meeting will be Monday 27th February 2023. As always, anyone from the school community can join our meetings to share a view or concern, or contact us to raise something on your behalf. Email Cherida Fraser at Boardchair@mns.school.nz with any questions for the Board or a request to participate in a meeting.

Have a wonderful holiday break ahead, we look forward to reconnecting with you next year.
