In Term 1, our Inquiry focus was The Rocky Shore, coming under the big umbrella of 'Our People, Our Place'.

We had our amazing trip to the Island Bay Marine Reserve where we got to touch so many sea creatures and have a play in the rock pools.

Project Jonah came to talk to us, which was awesome - we learnt many amazing things about sea animals, particularly whales and dolphins.

In our classes, we learnt some interesting facts about the sea life and environment around our rocky shore.

This is such an important topic for us to learn about, as all of us in Wellington live near the coastline.

In Term 1 we also had our MNS Day of Play. What a fun, amazing, cool day that was!!
