Our whole school overarching theme this year is 'Our People, Our Place'

The year we will be starting with getting to know our new class, learning what our responsibilities are in our spaces and working on building a treaty together.

Students will be learning about the Rocky Shore for our Term 1 Inquiry. It is a great opportunity to learn about what is on, and around our beaches, as we have just had our summer break where many families often visit the beach. We also have our Scorching Bay trip coming up (weather permitting).

We are hoping to finish off the term with a trip to the Island Bay Marine Centre, which runs an amazing education programme for schools. So look out for information about that.
