At the beginning of the year each class learns about the Treaty of Waitangi, in particular the concepts of Protection, Partnership and Participation.

We have all worked with our class to create a Treaty for our Learning Communities. These treaties are based around the school values, good learning behaviours and the future focused skills. Please have a look in your child's homework book and discuss both the class treaty and syndicate mission statement.
