NZSO Kowhai Trip to Michael Fowler and Te Papa.

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

On Wednesday 31 May, 11:00am – 12:00pm we will be part of the NZSO ‘Pick-a-Path’ Concert at the Michael Fowler Centre.

At the concert the children will help to bake a musical cake with conductor James Judd and the NZSO in a very special free performance for school-aged students. It is a fun, interactive concert where the children choose the character, their journey to their friend’s home and they make the cake, all with the help of the narrator Kevin Keys and our national orchestra. As we will be traveling into Wellington we will also take the opportunity to visit Te Papa for an hour.

We plan to leave school at 10:00 by bus and we will be back by 2:40pm and there is a cost of $5:50 for the bus.The children will need lunch, a drink and a sweatshirt/jacket.

Could you please pay for the bus, give permission for your child to go on this trip and indicate if you can help us on the day on Kindo? We will need two parent helpers per class. Here is the kindo link: Kowhai Trip on Kindo
