Mihi Whakatau
We had a fabulous Mihi Whakatau on Friday 12 February, to welcome all our new students and their whānau to MNS.
They were called on with karanga, welcomed with haka, speeches and waiata.
Tino pai to all our students who took part wth lead roles, and also to the school who sang so beautifully.
We warmly welcome all new families to our school community.
On Friday we did a Mihi Whakatau to welcome the new parents and strudents to the school. We meet in the school hall at the end of the day.
First the visitors came into the hall and we sang. After that we did speeches then we did more singing. We sang Utaina and some other songs. Then Mrs Adams did a speech. I felt tired at the end but it was good.
