The children have so enjoyed seeing their friends! Their joy and spirit was really captivating.

The teachers and I have been reading research from past pandemics or natural disasters and having discussions about the impact of the last couple of months on children. We will use this to guide our reflections and classroom strategies around Hauora/Wellbeing.

We also talked about the hauora/wellbeing of our staff and giving them an opportunity to share their reflections of the last few weeks and looking at how we continue to move forward together.

An important part of our discussions has been how best to report to you about your child’s achievement this term.

We welcome all our new children who have started at MNS. Felix, Jules, Ruben, Emilia and Joaquin in Room 9. Haroon, Alice, Elia, Maclaren, Kaian, Saminah, Jason and Cindy in Room 10. Ethan in Room 12 and Michael in Room 1.
