Miramarvellous - Saturday 10 April

Music, kai, and community... come and support local! We'll have a team of awesome parent helpers on the BBQ and the talented MNS kapa haka group will perform at 12:50pm. For tickets and other info check out the Miramarvellous Facebook page

Bake Sale - Friday 16 April

Bring your gold coins and your sweet tooth for a yummy after school feeding frenzy before the school holidays.

We'll be in touch with volunteers for both of these events very soon, thank you.

K Day

The sun turned up and so did of 80 of our family members for a fun afternoon of touch, netball and soccer this past Saturday. Thanks to everyone who reffed, took on the kiddos, bbq'd or devoured BBQ and iceblocks and big thanks to Cherida for corralling everyone. Community that plays together, stays together!

Term 2 sneak peak

Matariki Festival

A small group of parents and teachers had a great korero about growing MNS' first Matariki festival. We see it as a way to honour and celebrate te ao Māori, support learning about Matariki that takes place in the classroom and connect the wider community with our awesome little kura in a way that few other schools do.

We welcome guidance and input, especially from a tikanga Māori perspective.

Our next catchup is Monday 12 April, 4pm.

Raffle

Last year's raffle was so nice, we're doing it twice! It was really successful thanks to your help so we'll be doing it again towards the end of term 2. Watch this space!
