Moanataiari School Board Update: First Meeting of 2026

We are pleased to share that the Moanataiari School Board has held its first meeting of the 2026 school year.

Presiding Member Appointment

During the meeting, the Board conducted its annual election for Presiding Member. We are delighted to announce that Rebecca James has been appointed as the Presiding Member for the 2026 term. This appointment was made in accordance with Regulation 11 of the Education (School Boards) Regulations 2020, ensuring our governance remains robust and aligned with national legislative requirements.

The Board remains a dedicated team of familiar faces, committed to the continued success and well-being of our school community.

As many of you are aware, David Brock is currently on sabbatical for Term 1. In the interim, we are grateful to have Pam Kruger serving as our Acting Principal.
