We thoroughly enjoyed observing Miss MJ running a maths lesson in Kōpūānui with her tamariki.

Kōpūānui started with pae kōrero, and all of the tamariki stood with pride. Afterwards, the class began with a basic facts warm-up task before moving into their groups. 

It was heartening to see all tamariki actively engaged in their learning, being inquisitive, problem-solving and sharing their strategies with their group.
