It’s that time of the year when we celebrate our tau 8 ākonga from Tahuna-ā-Rua at a long-running tradition of Puāwaitanga. 

This year Puāwaitanga will be held at the Distinction Travelodge Hotel, 175 Cuba Street, Palmerston North Central. 

Date: Thursday 8th December 2022 Time: 5 pm - 7 pm. 

The cost for all Tau 8 tamariki will be covered by the kura.

Whānau wanting to attend will have to pay for their seat, which also covers kai. This event is open to all whānau. However, there is limited seating available. There are only 160 seats. 

Cost to attend Puāwaitanga 

Adults: $28 pp 

Child (8 under): $15 pp. This is a formal dress occasion. 

There will be a non-alcoholic bar for whānau to purchase their drinks. All numbers attending and payment must be received by Wednesday, 23 November, and you may start paying your tickets, making payments to the school account, or bringing money to the office. 

Tickets will be released after the closing payment date above.
