Tirohanga Bakes is a small student led baking group that started in Term 3 this year. We have made and sold different types of cupcakes, cookies and slices each week to our local school community. We have all learnt new skills like how we are all better at different things and that some of us still need a bit of work in certain areas. Some of us have preferred to make the cookies, do the icing or make cupcakes. But everyone in our group compliments each others baking or decorating skills and we have worked well together. We will finish up this year with a profit of $557.10, which will go back into our school. This has been a fun group to be apart of and we look forward to restarting in 2023.
